Bill Otto is the recipient of the IUP Hall of Fame honorary award for his services to IUP athletics. Otto has been the public address announcer for Crimson Hawks basketball since 1979, and the football public address announcer since 1981.
Otto served in the United States Army from 1965-1968, where he received the Bronze Star. In addition to his time as the IUP public address announcer, Otto works an announcer and sportscaster for Renda Broadcasting. He previously worked as an engineer for Verizon for over 33 years.
Otto and his wife Nancy are the parents to David and Michael Otto.
