Bob Vranich

A four-time All-American from 1990-93, Vranich was one of the most accomplished throwers in IUP track and field history.
 
Vranich placed in the top five at the Division II national championships in each of his first three seasons before winning the National Title in javelin in his senior season.
 
As a team, the Indians finished second in the PSAC in 1993. Vranich also qualified for the US
Olympic Trials in 1992, and he was the javelin champion at the Penn Relays in 1991. After graduating from IUP in 1994, Vranich went on to become a Senior Architectural and Design Manager with BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. in Huntington Beach, California.
