Forward thinking. Forward motion. Leaning forward. One of the great IUP soccer forwards of all time - Dave Langton.
During his IUP years, Langton played all four years, and still holds the record for most career goals (44) and assists (27). He was named to the All-PSAC team during the 1982, ’83, and ’84 seasons, and was a Regional All-American in 1983 and ’84. Langton also played on two teams achieving the most wins in a season in 1983 and ’84.
After graduating from State College Area High School, Langton earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and MIS from IUP in 1985. He and his wife, Colleen, live in Seattle, WA, with their daughter, Maddie.
