A four-year diving letterman for IUP, Russell wrapped up his college career with a pair of All-American nods at the 1992 NCAA Division II Championships.
Competing in his final collegiate meet, Russell came in eighth place in the 1 meter and 10th place in the 3 meter dives to earn All-American status.Earlier that season, Russell finished in sixth place in the 3 meter dive at the PSAC championships.
After his graduation in 1992, Russell became a
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and also contributes with the United Way, American Paralyzed Veterans Association and with Voluntary Income Tax Assistance.
