Pat Imbrogno

Pat Imbrogno came to IUP in 1974 and instantly became a star between the hashes on the football field.

He would make an instant impact, becoming the first true freshman to start under the nine-year tenure of head coach Bill Neal. After all the experience he gained, Imbrogno would go on to become a team captain as a senior. 

Imbrogno was a four-time All-PSAC West selection, a Big Indianan Club award winner four times, an ECAC all-district selection three times, and was also named an NAIA All-American. 

Imbrogno has been very successful since his graduation from IUP. He is currently the owner of Geo-Comm, aand has been elected president of the Pittsburgh Association of Petroleum Geologists three times. He has also been busy giving his time to  the Wounded Warrior Project, the Veteran’s Leadership Program and the Three Rivers Marine Corps Leatherneck League.

Imbrogno married IUP alumna Denise Spangler and the two have three children, Kyle, Kara and Kayla.
