Misenko had one of the most successful careers in IUP history, leading the Indians to three NCAA tournament appearances and the 1994-95 PSAC Championship.
Misenko was IUP’s all-time leading scorer from 1996-2011, and he still holds the record for most free throws in IUP history with 526.
In his senior season, Misenkowas named the ECAC Player of the Year after leading the team in points and rebounding.
After graduating from IUP in 1998, Misenko received his masters from George Mason University and went on to teach physical education. Robert and is wife Jessica Misenko live with their daughter, Sydney
