INDIANA, Pa. - For the second time this season, the IUP men's and women's track & field programs will send athletes to Slippery Rock, this time competing in the Bill Lennox Invitational this Friday at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. The first event is currently scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
This is the fourth of six meets scheduled prior to the 2021 PSAC Outdoor Championships May 6-8 in Shippensburg.
Spectator Policy
Slippery Rock University has announced that it will allow a limited number of approved spectators to attend outdoor athletic events this spring.

>> Through three meets, the Crimson Hawks have three athletes ranked first in the PSAC in their respective events -
Dre Carr in the men's 100m (11.7),
Trejon Turner in the men's high jump (1.95m), and
Nickeela Austin in the women's triple jump (12.15m).
>> Austin has the only NCAA provisional mark so far this season, leaping 12.15 meters in the triple jump at Lock Haven's Elliston Earlybird. It's also the best mark in the Atlantic Region and tied for 15th in Division II.
>> IUP has 31 total marks ranking among the top-16 in the PSAC so far this season, which will qualify for next month's PSAC outdoor championships.
>> Three women's triple jumpers currently make that top-16 cutoff, led by Austin.
Rachel Horrell is seventh with a mark of 11.07m and
Stefanie Ketterman is 15th at 10.37m.
