MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Junior guard
Anthony Glover (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) scored a career-high 27 points to lead 12th-ranked IUP men's basketball to a 73-63 win over Millersville at Pucillo Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
Glover went 7-of-13 from the field, drilling three three-pointers, and went a perfect 10-of-10 from the foul line in 29 minutes. He added six rebounds and a steal in his best outing with the Crimson Hawks.
The win was the fifth in a row for the 12th-ranked team in Division II, with IUP improving to 14-2 overall with a PSAC West-leading 9-1 league record.
IUP overcame 18 turnovers to outrebound the Marauders 42-21 on the night, gobbling up 17 on the offensive glass. The Crimson Hawks also continued their success at the foul line, going 20-of-23.
Sophomore forward
Jacobo Diaz (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain/CBA Gran Canaria) and sophomore guard
Dante Lombardi (Indiana, Pa./The Kiski School) also scored in double-figures, going for 15 and 11 points, respectively. Diaz nearly notched his eighth double-double of the year with nine rebounds.
Senior guard
Brandon Spain (Baltimore, Md./Glen Burnie) provided his usual spark off the bench, finishing with seven points, eight rebounds, and four steals in 26 minutes.

The Crimson Hawks return home for the first time 11 days when they host Edinboro (4-10, 2-8) on Saturday at the Kovalchick Complex. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
