Sophomore Rachel Magliane finished first and led the team to a first place tie at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday at Schenley Park. She finished with a time of 18:07 in the 5k race, 27 seconds before the third place finisher. This isn't the first success for Magliane this season; she took 37th overall out of 406 runners at the Paul Short Invitational, competing in a bracket made up of mostly Division I runners. She also finished 5th at the Michigan State Spartan Invitational.
