The Crimson and Gray Society honors and celebrates those dedicated donors who are committed to shaping the future of IUP Athletics. Established by the IUP Athletics Advancement Council and Annual Fund Committee, this exclusive giving society recognizes individuals who pledge significant long-term support to our student-athletes, programs, and facilities.

   

About the Society

The Crimson and Gray Society recognizes donors who commit a minimum of $25,000, payable over no more than five years, with an annual contribution of at least $5,000 to IUP Athletics. Contributions may be directed to a variety of impactful areas including scholarships, facilities, specific teams, or the department’s highest priorities.

Your support helps IUP Athletics:

• Recruit and retain outstanding student-athletes
• Enhance athletic facilities and equipment
• Support scholarships and academic success
• Elevate our competitive edge across all sports

Membership Requirements

To become a member of the Crimson and Gray Society, donors must commit to a $25,000 gift, payable over no more than 5 years, with an annual gift of at least $5,000 a year thereafter for one of the following:

• Endowed scholarship fund for a student-athlete
• Endowed fund for the Athletics Department (with approval)
• Athletic facility improvements
• Unrestricted support to be used at the discretion of the Athletic Director
• Designated support for an IUP team (with approval)
• Gridiron Club contributions
• Other uses as approved by the Athletic Director and University Advancement

Charter Members

Crimson and Gray Society Charter Members include those who:

• Established an endowed athletic scholarship (or other athletic endowment) in the past 5 years
• Donated at least $5,000 to IUP Athletics in the past fiscal year

To maintain membership, Charter Members must contribute a minimum of $5,000 per year beginning in the 2025–26 fiscal year.

New Members Welcome

Prospective donors can join the Crimson and Gray Society immediately with a $25,000 commitment (payable over 5 years) and an ongoing minimum gift of $5,000 per year thereafter.
