Redshirt freshman football player Lenny Williams has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 12. Williams played his best all-around game of the season in Saturday's 47-10 win at Seton Hill. The quarterback broke a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) record for rushing yards by a quarterback with 205 and a touchdown on just 16 carries. He finished with 362 total yards in the game, the ninth highest single game total in IUP history, finishing 9-of-15 passing for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

The dual threat had eight runs of 10-plus yards, including scampers of 23, 39 and 62 yards, the latter going for a touchdown. All three of his touchdowns came in the third quarter where the Crimson Hawks scored 30 points alone, breaking the game wide open.
