Women's soccer senior goalie Jessica Printz has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, September 26. This is Printz's first career IUP weekly honor.
Printz helped the Crimson Hawks to a 2-1 week, including two PSAC wins, as they improved to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the conference. The senior posted shutouts in 3-0 wins over Lock Haven and Pitt-Johnstown, while saving 16 shots and posting a 0.67 goals against average in 270 minutes of playing time.Â
Printz is among the PSAC leaders in shutouts (three), goals against average (0.89), and save percentage (0.840) this season.
