Senior women's cross country runner Jenna Lezanic was named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, November 6. It's her first career IUP weekly award.

Lezanic posted a fifth place finish at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Championships this past weekend, earning an invitation to the national meet in two weeks. She crossed the line with a time of 23:07 on the 6K course at Slippery Rock, earning All-Region honors for the first time in her career. 

This will be Lezanic's first NCAA Championship appearance. It will take place in Saint Leo, Florida on November 19.
