Senior men's swimmer Andrew Richey was named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, December 12. It's Richey's first career IUP weekly award.

Richey tallied three Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship qualifying times against Clarion on Saturday. He earned wins in the 50 freestyle (22.14) and swam a leg on the victorious 200 free relay team. He also placed third in the 100 free with a time of 49.72.
