Junior men's basketball guard Anthony Glover has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, January 15. This is Glover's first IUP weekly award of the year.
Glover led the 12th-ranked Crimson Hawks to a 3-0 record last week, averaging a team-best 17.0 points per game. His big highlight came in Wednesday's 73-63 road win over Millersville, scoring a career-high 27 points on 7-of-13 shooting. His free throws were the difference in the 10-point victory, as he went a perfect 10-of-10 from the charity stripe.
In Saturday's comeback win over Edinboro, Glover knocked down the game-winner three-pointer with 6.9 seconds left in the 80-77 victory.
