Again recording double figures in back-to-back games for the Crimson Hawks, point guard Devante Chance led an IUP offense that beat its weekend opponents by an average of 15 points. Against Shaw, Chance recorded 16 points, grabbing three boards and a steal. He also added three helpers and shot 4-5 from the FT line. The Crimson Hawks defeated Shaw 74-57. In their next contest against the University of the Sciences, Chance led the way for IUP, recording 17 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals. The shot 6-8 from the floor and 1-3 from behind the arc, again making 4-5 free throws. His role with the Crimson Hawks has been so instrumental that he played in all but two minutes out of the 80 total minutes played over the weekend. On the season, Chance is averaging 13.8 points per game. He leads the team in assists, with 26 in six games for an average of 4.3 per game. He also has seven steals, one block and averages 3.5 rebounds per game.
