Mathis Keita averaged a team-high 24.0 points and added 7.5 rebounds per game in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament last weekend. He scored 29 points in the 75-68 first round win over West Chester. He broke an IUP single game NCAA tournament record of 16 made free throws, going 16-of-23 from the line while going 5-of-10 from the field, including 3-of-5 from three-point range. He also added seven rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes. He played 52 of the possible 55 minutes in IUP's 86-85 triple overtime loss to West Liberty, scoring 19 points while bringing down eight rebounds. He went 6-of-13 from the field, draining a pair of threes, and dished out five assists while blocking two shots.
