Marcel Souberbielle averaged 19.0 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games as he helped IUP to the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament. Named to the All-Tournament team, he played in both games off the bench due to an injury, but still averaged 36.5 minutes per contest, including 43 minutes in the 86-85 triple overtime loss to West Liberty. He tied a career-high with 27 points in that game, hitting clutch three-pointers at the end of regulation and in the first overtime to keep the score tied. He also notched his first double-double of the season with 10 rebounds and shot 10-of-20 from the field and 4-of-10 from three-point range. In the 75-68 win over West Chester, he played in 30 minutes, scoring 11 points and went 6-of-8 from the foul line.
