Tanya Timko gets her second IUP Athlete of the Week nod after earning a three-set upset victory over Cal’s Lucie Sipkova, Division II’s fifth-ranked singles player. The junior rallied to win a 1-6, 6-3, 10-8 match, earning her eighth consecutive victory and seventh over a regionally-ranked opponents. She finished with a 6-2 combined record for the week, going 3-1 in singles and doubles. She also had a big doubles victory, pairing with Erika Schnaas to defeat the nation’s 23^rd ranked team from Wayne State 8-4 on Saturday.
