Alex Hampel wins his first IUP Athlete of the Week award after earning all-conference honors at the 2014 PSAC Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Mansfield. Hampel finished in 10th overall, leading all IUP runners, with a time of 25:10 on the 8K course, a career-best. He was also named the PSAC Champion Scholar for men's cross country, as his 4.0 GPA in biology was the highest cumulative number of all runners at the championships.
