Yuri Fernandes has been selected as the IUP Men's Athlete of the Week. Fernandes was a key contributor in helping the Crimson Hawks place second over the weekend at the PSAC Championships. Fernandes finished the event by achieving NCAA Qualifying Time in four events while also breaking two IUP records in the 200 IM and the 400 IM. Fernandes also was able to pull away with a first place victory in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 45:69.
