The IUP defense kept Slippery Rock off the board for 93 minutes but it wasn't enough as the Crimson Hawks dropped a 1-0 overtime decision Saturday in PSAC action.

The Rock (10-3-2, 8-3-2 PSAC) out shot IUP (8-6-1, 6-6-1 PSAC) 22-5 but five saves by Kelly Brennan (Middletown/Middletown) and tough defense kept the score tied through regulation.

Shelby Ward scored an unassisted tally at 93:18 to set the final.

Paige Virgara (Pittsburgh/Keystone Oaks) paced the Crimson Hawk offense with three shots. Melissa Kornock (Hatfield/North Penn) and Katy Tronel (Chester Springs/Downingtown) had the other shots for IUP.

The Crimson Hawk offense looks to get off the snide, after being held scoreless for over 300 minutes when they host Lock Haven in their final home game of the season at 1 p.m. at South Campus Soccer Field.
