The IUP women's volleyball team dropped a hard fought 3-0 match to Cal Tuesday night at Memorial Field House in PSAC action.

The Crimson Hawks (19-8, 9-6 PSAC) hung tough with the Vulcans (18-10, 13-3 PSAC) in the first set which finished 28-26. IUP battled in both the second and third sets before falling 25-22 and 25-23.

Jessica Bodkin (Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) paced the IUP offense with 15 kills and added a pair of blocks. Morgan Cerveny (Richfield, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) added seven kills and a team high three blocks.

Emily Pany (Coplay, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) chipped in 26 digs and Laura McFadden (Orefield, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) chipped in 15 digs. Chelsea Kreinbrook triggered the offense with 34 assists.

The Crimson Hawks host Fairmont State in non-conference action on Friday at 7 p.m. at Memorial Field House.
