Jessica Bodkin (Newport Beach, Calif./Newport Harbor) paced IUP with 13 kills and four blocks to help the Crimson Hawks get a win in the opening match of a PSAC crossover weekend at Clarion with a 3-0 victory over Kutztown.  IUP won by scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-15.

Ericka Lentz (Reading/Holy Name) chipped in 12 kills for IUP (13-5, 5-4 PSAC), Danielle Ostendorf (Rockford, IL/Boylan Catholic) added eight kills and two blocks and Emily Pany (Coplay, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) contributed 20 digs and two service aces.

Laura McFadden (Orefield, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) had 14 digs and Emily Vaughn (Shippensburg/Shippensburg) had 13 digs. Sarah Alman (Indiana/Indiana) set the offense with 33 assists for the match.

The Crimson Hawks continue action Saturday with matches against West Chester and Cheyney at Clarion.
