Heather Robbins (Frederica, DE/Polytech) scored twice and added an assist to help IUP earn its first win in the PSAC with a 3-0 win over visiting Clarion Saturday afternoon at South Campus Soccer Field.
 
Robbins wasted no time in putting the Crimson Hawks (2-2-1, 1-2-1 PSAC) ahead with a hard shot to the top corner over the shoulder of Clarion (1-3-1, 1-1 PSAC) goalie Jenna Kulik on a pass from Melissa Kornock (Hatfield/North Penn). 

Paige Virgara (Pittsburgh/Keystone Oaks) set up Robbins for her second goal at 35:38. Virgara sent the ball on a cross and Robbins buried it in the back of the net on a header. 

Ashley Moyer (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) picked up an insurance goal, her first of the season, at 80:11 assisted by Robbins and Carter Sheely (Carlisle/Cumberland Valley) to set the final. 

Kelly Brennen picked up the shutout for the Crimson Hawks making five saves on the day. 

IUP returns to action on Monday when they host Wheeling Jesuit in non-conference action at 4 p.m. at South Campus Field.
