IUP defeated East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg and lost to Bloomsburg in a series of three PSAC crossover matches Friday and Saturday at Clarion.

The Crimson Hawks dropped a 6-3 decision to the Huskies but bounced back to lose only one match in sweeping the Warriors and Raiders Saturday. IUP is 4-1 on the season.

Katie Eaton (Halesowen, United Kingdom/Haybridge) won all three of her No. 1 singles matches, dropping only 10 games along the way. She picked up one of IUP's points vs. Bloomsburg with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Emily Palko. Kelly McBryan (Grove City/Grove City) also went 3-0 in singles over the weekend while Emilia Osborne (Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom/Cedars ), Tabtip Louhabanjong (Krabi, Thailand/West Anchorage (AK)) and Alex Ballard (Akron, Ohio/St. Vincent-St. Mary) won twice.

Osborne and McBryan both rallied from one set down to defeat their Husky opponent. Osborne beat Laura Sullivan 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 at No. 2 singles, and McBryan won at No. 5 with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory over Sarah Fisher.

Selected IUP players will compete next at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Atlantic Region tournament beginning Saturday in Charleston, W.Va.
