For the second consecutive game Melissa Kornock (Hatfield/North Penn) found the back of the net twice to help IUP to a 5-0 conference win at Mansfield on Wednesday afternoon.

Kornock gave IUP (4-2-1, 2-2-1 PSAC) an early lead over Mansfield (1-5-1, 0-4-1 PSAC) when she scored her fifth goal of the season unassisted just 7:05 into the contest.

With under a minute to play in the first half Kelsey Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) picked up her first career goal on a pass from Sharee McCarty (Lancaster/Conestoga Valley) to give the Crimson Hawks a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Much like the first half Kornock got on the board early in the second with an unassisted tally at 50:39.

Heather Robbins (Frederica, DE/Polytech) added a goal at 55:04, her fourth in three games. The goal gave Robbins eight on the year and 35 in her career, good for fifth all-time and one goal behind Amy Peterson.

A pair of freshmen teamed up and set the final when Katy Tronel (Chester Springs/Downingtown) deposited a Jordan Howerton (Prince Frederick, MD/Calvert) pass in the back of the net for her first career goal.

Kelly Brennan (Middletown/Middletown) picked up her third shutout of the year making three saves and improving to 4-2-1 on the year.

The Crimson Hawks host Kutztown this Saturday at 1 p.m. at South Campus Soccer Field.
