Laura McFadden (Orefield, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) recorded 15 kills and 21 digs for IUP but it wasn't enough as the Crimson Hawks dropped a 3-1 decision at Slippery Rock Friday night.

IUP dropped the first set 25-22 then bounced back in the second with a 27-25 win to pull even. Slippery Rock took the next two sets by identical 25-23 scores to get the win.

Danielle Ostendorf (Rockford, IL/Boylan Catholic) added nine kills and a team-high six blocks for the Crimson Hawks. Chelsey Kreinbrook (Dawson, Pa./Geibel Catholic) had 45 assists to go with 12 digs and five blocks.

Kadie Koeneman (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) chipped in 13 digs, seven kills, four blocks and three service aces. Morgan Cerveny (Richfield, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) tallied seven kills and four blocks.

The Crimson Hawks look to get back on track on Saturday when they travel to Clarion.
