CLARION, PA - Lauren Hester (State College, Pa. /State College) led IUP with eight kills as the Crimson Hawks were defeated by  Clarion in three sets on Saturday in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference volleyball match-up .

The Hawks took a 10-7 led before Clarion went on an eight-to-one run that would  help give Clarion the win in the first set 25-22 and would continue to carry them in the next two sets, 25-12 and 25-19.

Carissa Miara (Pittsburgh/West Allegheny) had a team high of 24 assists, and again Stacey Root (York/Spring Grove) had a high of 12 digs in this afternoons lost.

The Crimson Hawks are now 9-16 and 3-10 in the PSAC-West will be back on the court visiting Cal for a 7:00 p.m. match-up.
