EDINBORO, PA - Morgan Cerveny (Richfield, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) had a team-high five kills and Sarah Alman (Indiana/Indiana) had 10 assists but the Crimson Hawks could not get their offense going, losing to Edinboro 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-18) in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action Saturday afternoon.

Danielle Ostendorf (Rockford, IL/Boylan Catholic) and Sara Leighty (Martinsburg/Central) each had three kills for the Crimson Hawks, while Beth Sova and Carly Kowalski (Corry/Corry) added two kills apiece. Carissa Miara (Pittsburgh/West Allegheny) chipped in with three assists and a service ace. Defensively, Emily Vaughn (Shippensburg/Shippensburg) had 10 digs and Kowalski added eight.

Gina Boothe led the Fighting Scots with 14 kills on 34 attacks, while Megan Osysko had a game-high 31 assists.

The Crimson Hawks (9-20, 3-13) will look to get back on track this Tuesday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
