Tabtip Louhabanjong (Krabi, Thailand/West Anchorage (AK)) rallied from a huge deficit to edge Ashland's Tori Goudy at No. 1 singles, giving IUP a 5-4 victory over the Eagles and earning her PSAC West Player of the Week honors.

Louhabanjong was down one set and 4-0 in the second before storming back for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 victory over Goudy, ranked No. 9 in the Midwest Region in singles. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Crimson Hawks (10-2) and ended an eight-match winning streak for Ashland, ranked No. 6 in the Midwest Region.

Louhabanjong also teamed with Katie Eaton (Halesowen, United Kingdom/Haybridge), last week's PSAC West Player of the Week, to defeat Goudy and Paige Cooper at No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-5. Goudy and Cooper are ranked No. 6 in the region in doubles.

Also winning singles matches for IUP were Emilia Osborne (Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom/Cedars ) at No. 3 and Ranvita Mahto (Burlington, ON/Robert Bateman) at No. 4. Osborne and Alex Ballard (Akron, Ohio/St. Vincent-St. Mary) posted a narrow 9-8 win at No. 3 doubles.

IUP is back in action Wednesday with a match at West Liberty.
