Box Score

MILLERSVILLE, PA – Even with 110 minutes of play and 37 total shots, neither team was able to find the back of the net as IUP and Millersville fought to a scoreless tie in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) women's soccer action on Wednesday evening.

The tie gave the Crimson Hawks a point in the standings which is good enough to clinch at least the eighth spot in the upcoming PSAC tournament.

IUP (8-5-4, 5-5-3) dominated the offensive end with 29 shots compared to just eight, including 11 on goal throughout regulation and both overtimes.

Kelsey Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove) had a couple chances to put IUP on the board at the end of 90 minutes, as one shot sailed wide left in the 87th minute while another with two seconds left was saved by Millersville goalie Olivia Webber.

Again Fisher tried to give IUP the win in the second overtime, however two of her shots in the final five minutes were again saved by Webber while a third with less than a minute remaining hit the post as the game would remain scoreless.

Mara Hricik (Moon Twp./Moon) posted her third shutout of the season as she saved four shots on goal.

The Crimson Hawks finish up the regular season on Saturday as they host Clarion on Senior Day. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m.
