Women's Volleyball Blanks Shepherd on the Road

IUP won each set on Tuesday by a close two-point margin

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV - The Crimson Hawks scored three tight set victories as IUP scored a 3-0 win over Shepherd in non-conference women's volleyball action on Tuesday night.

Each set finished with the exact same score of 25-23, as the Crimson Hawks (17-8) came out on top in each.

Morgan Cerveny (Richfield, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) led the way offensively with seven kills, adding three block assists. Sarah Alman (Indiana/Indiana) talled 13 assists while Meghan Schneider (Lake Geneva, Wis. /Big Foot) had seven total blocks (four solo) to lead the defensive charge.

IUP is back in action at home this weekend, hosting Slippery Rock on Friday night and Clarion on Saturday afternoon.
