AT A GLANCE
IUP is hoping a two-week layoff will not slow the momentum of the Crimson Hawks, who are 2-0 in the early season thanks to a pair of tough wins against Concord and Fairmont State. To stay undefeated, IUP will have to defeat a tough Bloomfield squad that also hopes to stay unbeaten with a win.

LAST TIME OUT
Sr. F Sarah Pastorek (Johnstown/Bishop McCort) notched her first double-double of the season in a 14 point, 10 rebound effort to help the Crimson Hawks to a 50-47 win over Fairmont State last Saturday. Pastorek was 6-of-9 from the field, while So. F Ashley Stoner (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Thomas Jefferson) chipped in 7 points and 9 boards.

THE 1,000 POINT CLUB
With her first bucket of the game Saturday, Pastorek became just the 20th player in IUP history to score 1,000 points in a career. The senior moved into 19th place on the IUP all-time scoring list Saturday, and is just 200 points shy of the top ten.

NCAA RANKINGS
The Crimson Hawks entered the Division II ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll for the first time this season, checking in at No. 22. IUP was unranked in the preseason polls, but moves in to the rankings with a pair of impressive road wins to begin the year. The Crimson Hawks are one of three PSAC West teams to be featured in the rankings, as Gannon and Edinboro are ranked 11th and 15th, respectively.

FORCE INSIDE
Stoner has been a rock inside for the Crimson Hawks early in the season, averaging 7.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest. Stoner played a career-high 32 minutes against Fairmont State and pulled down 9 rebounds.

THE HEAD COACH
Jeff Dow (Oregon, '81) enters his fifth season as the head coach of the IUP women's basketball program after leading the Crimson Hawks to a record of 23-7, 17-5 in the PSAC, and an appearance in the Atlantic Region Semifinals a season ago. Already one of the most successful coaches in IUP history, Dow has a record of 87-31 and has led the Crimson Hawks to four consecutive PSAC tournament appearances during his tenure. Last season, Dow led IUP to the PSAC Semifinals for the first time since 2008-09.

Dow has a career coaching record of 198-97 with previous stops at Anderson, Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas-San Antonio.
