BLOOMSBURG, PA - The team of Tanya Timko (Cannonsburg, PA/Chartiers-Houston) and Emilia Osborne (Leighton Buzzard, United Kingdom/Cedars ) won their semifinals match before falling in the finals while Katie Eaton (Halesowen, United Kingdom/Haybridge) was edged in the semifinals of the singles bracket on the second day of the 2012 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Tennis Individual Championships in Bloomsburg.

Advancing with a pair of wins yesterday, Timko and Osborne defeated the team of Kasey Love and Janelle Krantz from Slippery Rock 8-3 to open Sunday and advance to the championship match. The top-seeded team of Lucie Rey and Lucie Sipkova from California would get the best of them, however, as Timko and Osborne dropped the match by a score of 8-1.

Osborne, who last weekend became IUP's all-time leader in career total victories (singles-plus-doubles wins), added three more to her total this weekend.

Eaton, one of four fifth-eighth seeds in the singles bracket, advanced to today's semfinals with three wins yesterday. It was there that she fell to Rey from Cal by a score of 6-4, 6-1.

IUP's fall season continues next weekend with the ITA Atlantic Regional championships on September 22-24 in Charleston, West Virginia.
