Bloomsburg got the ball rolling within the first minute of play as Brooke Mohney's kick rolled past goalie Mara Hricik (Moon Twp./Moon) to put the Huskies on top 1-0. The Hawks didn't find the back of the net until the 8:17 mark when Kuhns found Tonya Fabian (Pittsburgh/Thomas Jefferson) as she scored to tie the game at 1-1. Tara Huber almost gave the Huskies the lead going into the half with a close ball that hit the top post of the goal in the 38th minute.

Kuhns wasted no time in the second half to put IUP on top 2-1, scoring after a nice ball from Kelsey Fisher (Selinsgrove/Selinsgrove). Five minutes later Kuhns found Fabian with a cross from the left wing to make the score 3-1.

The scoring continued, as Huber got her second on a penalty kick after an IUP yellowcard in the 58th minute, cutting the Hawks lead to 3-2.

The Hawks didn't let the penatly kick give the Huskies any momentum, as Kuhns scored one minute later off another nice pass from Fabian to put IUP up 4-2. Fisher took it again to the Bloomsburg goalie putting the ball in the back right corner at the 66:19 mark as the Hawks got the final score of the game.
