The Crimson Hawks hit the road to face Edinboro in a key PSAC West matchup on Wednesday evening. IUP is looking to break Edinboro's four-game win streak in the series and erase the one-game difference between the schools in the division standings. The Crimson Hawks have an 8-3 conference record while Edinboro is 9-2 and on a three-game winning streak.

All 13 Crimson Hawks saw action while 11 added to the scoring column as IUP easily defeated Clarion 84-67 at home on Saturday night. IUP built a 42-26 halftime lead and went up by as many as 26 in the second half en route to the win. So. G

Sarah Pastorek (Johnstown/Bishop McCort) sits in 11th place on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,219 points. Currently on pace to break into the top five this year, Pastorek is 5 points away from passing Theresa Kabala (1995-99) for 10th on the list. She's also tied for 5th in FTs made (315), 12th in rebounds (603) and 14th in FGs made (450).
THE CHARITY STRIPE
Pastorek is one of the top free throw shooters in the PSAC, ranking 6th with an 80.9 FT% (89-110) this season. By far her best season from the foul line, at her current pace has the potential to break IUP records for FTs made (164) and FTs attempted (246) in a season. For her career she's 315-423 from the line, a 74.5 pct. good for 10th in school history.
SHOOTING THE “3”
The Crimson Hawks are one of the top three-point shooting teams in the PSAC, ranking 3rd with a 32.7 percentage (93-284) and averaging 5.5 made per game. Four different players have at least 10 3's, including So. G

Amy Fairman (Creekside, Pa. /Marion Center) is 1st on the team with a 39.6 3FG% (19-48).
NCAA RANKINGS
The Crimson Hawks moved up to No. 19 in the USA TODAY Sports Top 25 poll, a four-spot improvement from last week after a pair of wins over California and Clarion. This is the eighth straight week that IUP appears in the poll.
THE HEAD COACH
Jeff Dow (Oregon, '88) is in his fifth season as the head coach at IUP, leading the Crimson Hawks to a pair of NCAA tournaments (2009, 2012) and a PSAC championship during a 26-6 debut season in 2008-09. Earlier this season, Dow eclipsed 200 wins in his head coaching career and has a record of 210-100, including a 98-35 mark at IUP.
