AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks will look to continue their hot start to the season as they travel to Clarion to take on the Golden Eagles on Saturday night. IUP is 3-0 and won its PSAC opener on Wednesday with a 96-72 defeat of Pitt-Johnstown at home. The Golden Eagles are also coming off of a 90-point performance, defeating Slippery Rock 95-80 on Wednesday. They enter with a 2-1 overall record, also defeating West Liberty 104-88.

THE SERIES
IUP owns a 47-22 all-time series lead over Clarion. The Crimson Hawks have won five straight in the series and 15 of the last 16 overall dating back to the 2005-06 season. The only loss for IUP during that run was a 63-60 defeat in Tippin Gym back in 2011.

SCORING IN BUNCHES
Jr. G Lindsay Stamp (Erie, Pa. /Mercyhurst Prep) is off to a hot start to the season, leading the PSAC with 25.3 ppg as IUP has started 3-0. She has scored at least 20 points each time, including a career-high 35 in the 96-72 win over Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday. She has a 53.7 FG% (29-54), a 58.8 3FG% (10-17), and a 80.0 FT% (8-10).

IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Stamp's 35 points against Pitt-Johnstown were just 3 shy of tying the IUP single game record of 38. That mark was reached on three occasions, with the last time by Jahzinga Tracey against Shippensburg in 2008. Tracey also reached that mark against the Lady Raiders in 2007 but the record was first set by Cindy Davies against Clarion in 1985. Stamp's 7 three-pointers also tied a record set by Lacey Claar (Clarion, 2010) and Jr. G Marita Mathe (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) (Lock Haven, 2012).

GETTING OFFENSIVE...
Of the team-leading 26 rebounds from Jr. F Ashley Stoner (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Thomas Jefferson), 18 of them have been on the offensive glass. Her 6.0 off. rpg leads the PSAC, getting a single game high of 8 against Pitt-Johnstown. Stoner is averaging 8.7 rpg this year and has one double-double.

...WHILE STAYING DEFENSIVE
Through three games this year, IUP leads the PSAC by allowing just 54.3 ppg and a 30.5 FG%. Twice the Crimson Hawks have limited opponents to under 50 points and they enter this weekend ranked 3rd in blocks per game (4.33) and 6th in steals per game (10.0).
