AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks travel to Kutztown to take on the Golden Bears this Saturday in their final action before the new year. IUP is 2-0 this week against PSAC East competition, defeating Millersville and Shippensburg at home by a combined 41 points. Kutztown is 2-2 in the month of December, including a two-point loss at Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday. The Crimson Hawks carry an 8-1 overall record while Kutztown is 5-4.
THE SERIES

The main strength of the Crimson Hawks this season is their defense. The Golden Bears enter the weekend after splitting its last four games, including a two-point loss at UPJ on Wednesday. Seven of Kutztown's nine games this year have been decided by six points or less, with KU holding a 4-3 record in those games.
