AT A GLANCE
After losing their second straight game for the first time in three season, the Crimson Hawks will look to get back on track as they head to Erie to battle No. 2 Gannon on Wednesday night. IUP's losses last week came at home to Bloomsburg and on the road at Mercyhurst, dropping them to 11-3 overall and into a 4th place tie with the Lakers with a 2-2 PSAC West mark. Holding the 2nd spot in the Division II Top 25 all season, the 16-0 (5-0) Golden Knights have won their last four games by an average of 21 points.

THE SERIES
IUP leads the all-time series with the Golden Knights with a record of 15-13. Gannon took all three meetings last year, including a 64-46 decision in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Atlantic Regional. The Crimson Hawks got the best of Gannon the year prior, taking two of three including the regular season finale and in the opening round of the PSAC
tournament.

TOP SCORER
Despite her low point total on Saturday, Jr. G Lindsay Stamp (Erie, Pa. /Mercyhurst Prep) leads the PSAC in scoring with 20.5 ppg. She tallied 28 points against Bloomsburg and 9 at Mercyhurst, the first time since Feb. 16 of last season (20 straight games) that she did not reach double-figures in scoring. She's posted 10 20-point performances this year alone and has 15 for her career, including 13 in 45 games at IUP. Including her time at Mercyhurst, Stamp has totaled 827 career points and is on pace to hit the 1,000-point milestone later this season.

WELCOME BACK
Returning to the court for the first time in 40 days, Jr. G Marita Mathe (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) scored a team-high 15 points off the bench at Mercyhurst. Playing in just 22 minutes after fouling out, she went 4-6 from the field and a perfect 2-2 from three-point range.

BEYOND THE ARC
The Crimson Hawks are putting together one of the best three-point shooting seasons in school history. Their 37.7 3FG% is 2nd in the PSAC and is 15th in Division II and would also break the previous program mark of 35.8 pct. set during the 2009-10 season. IUP has knocked down a total of 101 3's and its 7.2 made per game is currently 4th in the PSAC. IUP has four threats from beyond the arc, including Jr. F Amy Fairman (Creekside, Pa. /Marion Center) (42.9 pct), Stamp (42.0 pct), Mathe (40.0 pct) and Jr. G Leslie Stapleton (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) (36.5 pct).

IN THE POST
With 13 points against Mercyhurst, Jr. F Ashley Stoner (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Thomas Jefferson) posted her ninth double-figure scoring game of the season and sixth in the last seven games. She's 2nd on the team with 10.3 ppg and leads IUP with 7.1 rpg. She's also 3rd in the PSAC with an 81.8 FT%.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Crimson Hawks dropped out of the national rankings after the pair of losses last week. IUP appeared at No. 20 in last Tuesday's Top 25 release after also being ranked at No. 25 back on Dec. 3. In three games as a ranked team this year, the Crimson Hawks are 0-3 with losses to Seton Hill, Bloomsburg and Mercyhurst.
