AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks wrap up the regular season on the road as they travel to face rival Slippery Rock on Wednesday night. IUP is coming off of a 69-63 loss to division-leading Edinboro on Saturday after leading by 16 points in the second half. IUP has lost three of its last four and is 3-3 in the month of February. Slippery Rock has won two of three games, including a 62-60 victory over Seton Hill last weekend. The Crimson Hawks have already clinched the fourth seed in the upcoming PSAC tournament with a 7-8 division record while SRU enters the game in last place in the West with a 3-12 record.
THE SERIES
IUP currently holds a 42-36 all-time series lead over Slippery Rock, including a 13-game winning streak that dates back to 2006-07 season. IUP has also won six consecutive games at SRU, with the last loss being 62-59 during that 06-07 season.
PSAC TOURNAMENT
IUP clinched its 17th all-time trip to the PSAC championships and will have the No. 4 seed when the tournament opens this coming weekend. IUP is 19-12 all-time in the tournament with four conference titles, including a three-peat from 2007-09. Heading into the final regular season game, the Crimson Hawks opponent (No. 5 seed) for the first round game on Saturday has yet to be determined.
NEW ROLE

Lindsay Stamp (Erie, Pa. /Mercyhurst Prep) has played in three games since returning from missing nearly a month due to injury. She's come off of the bench in each of those contests, and is averaging 15.7 ppg and 25.0 mpg. Her scoring efficiency has gone up since the return as she's averaged 25.1 pts/40 mins in her three games off the bench compared to 24.5 pts/40 mins in her 16 starts.
SUCCESS AT THE LINE
The Crimson Hawks have been the hottest foul shooting team in the PSAC over the past six games, converting a solid 78.3 pct (83-106) from the line. During that span, IUP has increased its FT% from 68.4 to 70.6, moving up to 7th in the PSAC. Sr. G

Leslie Stapleton (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) is 20-21 (95.2) from the line during that span. Jr. G

RAINING THREES
IUP is just 4 3-pointers shy of breaking a program record for triples in a single season. The current mark of 184 was set back in 27-game 2004-05 season and the Crimson Hawks have drained 181 in 25 games this year. IUP is 6th in Division II with a 39.0 3FG% and 2nd in the PSAC with 7.2 3's per game.
SCOUTING SLIPPERY ROCK
Despite a 6-19 overall record, Slippery Rock features one of the best post players in the PSAC in Jr. F D'Asia Chambers. 4th in scoring (17.8) and 7th in rebounding (8.5), she has 9 double-doubles this year, she boasts a 52.5 FG% and a 36.4 3FG%. So. G Erica Aiello is 4th in the conference with 4.4 apg and has shown to be dangerous from long range with a 42.0 3FG%. SRU has lost six times in its last eight games by an average of 19.3 points. The two victories have come by 4.5 points.
