AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks move on in the 2014 PSAC Women's Basketball Championship as they travel to Edinboro for the quarterfinals on Tuesday. Fourth-seeded IUP advanced with a dominating 79-56 win over fifth-seeded Pitt-Johnstown in the KCAC on Saturday. Edinboro received a bye in the first round as the Fighting Scots are the top-seeded team in the PSAC West. The winner of this game will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, which will be hosted by the West's highest seed.

THE SERIES
Edinboro leads the all-time series with a record of 45-34 in head-to-head meetings. The Fighting Scots have been victorious in each of the last eight matchups, including a pair of postseason wins - 75-71 in 2013 PSAC tournament; 70-56 in 2012 NCAA regionals. IUP is 2-3 against Edinboro all-time in the postseason, with PSAC tournament wins coming in 2007 (81-58) and 2003 (86-59).

PSAC TOURNAMENT
This is IUP's 17th all-time trip to the PSAC championships. IUP is now 20-12 all-time in the tournament with four conference titles, including a three-peat from 2007-09, winning the program's first crown in 1988. (More info on page 8).

REGIONAL RANKINGS
IUP has not appeared in either of the two NCAA Atlantic Regional rankings so far this year. PSAC teams in the top 10 include Gannon (1st), Edinboro (3rd), Bloomsburg (4th) and California (7th). The top eight schools in each region advance to the NCAA tournament with the selection show airing on NCAA.com this Sunday night.

SUCCESS AT THE LINE
The Crimson Hawks have been the hottest foul shooting team in the PSAC over the past eight games, converting a solid 79.9 pct (111-139) from the line. During that span, IUP has increased its FT% from 68.4 to 71.5, moving up from 9th to 6th in the PSAC. Sr. G Talen Watson (Odenton, MD/Arundel) has gone 28-29 (96.6 pct) and Jr. G Leslie Stapleton (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) is 26-27 (96.3) from the line during that span. Jr. G Amy Fairman (Creekside, Pa. /Marion Center) has made all 15 of her attempts.

GETTING HOT AT THE RIGHT TIME

Due to various injuries, this group has started just eight games together, but is a perfect 8-0.

SCOUTING EDINBORO
