Wes Carson (Woodstock, Md./Marriots Ridge), which loaded the bases for
Jonathan O'Neill (Pittsburgh/Chartiers Valley), who singled through the left side, scoring two. Back-to-back walks forced another run in to make it a 7-6 game and a sacrifice fly by
Hunter Bigler (Washington/Trinity) scored O'Neill and tied the game at 7-7.
Mock then came to the plate again and forced another bases loaded walk, scoring Jones and putting IUP on top 8-7.
With two outs in the bottom of the seventh, Mock came to the mound from right field and with a runner on second base, got the last to strikeout looking to get the win.
Greater Allegheny took a 3-0 lead in the third inning of game two before the Crimson Hawks used three straight doubles from Mock, Uhl and
Scott Hess (Erie/Erie Cathedral Prep) to score three runs and tie the score.
IUP took a 4-3 lead in the fifth on an RBI single by
Tyler Mroz (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley), but Greater Allegheny tied the game in the top of the sixth on a run-scoring single of its own.
