THE GAME AT A GLANCE
The 24th-ranked Crimson Hawks continue their home slate to start the season when they host Bowie State on Tuesday night. Tipoff at the Kovalchick Complex is set for 7:30 p.m. This will be the third straight home game for IUP, which opened last weekend with a pair of wins. Bowie State comes into this matchup with an even 1-1 record, defeating West Virginia Wesleyan 59-52 before falling to Fairmont State 100-97 last weekend.

STORYLINES
• With their 19-point win over Lincoln on Friday, IUP now has won 17 straight season-opening victories; The streak dates back to the 2000-01 season
• This is the 12th all-time meeting between these two Atlantic Region powers, with IUP holding an 8-3 edge; Bowie State won last year's matchup by a score of 76-72
• The Crimson Hawks showed tremendous offensive balance during their opening weekend, as seven players average double-figures in scoring after two games
• R-Jr. F Blake Danielak (Georgetown, Tex./Liberty Hill) leads IUP in scoring with 17.5 points per game, scoring a career-high 18 against Lincoln; He came off the bench in both contests last weekend, and will look to get his first IUP start tonight
• Fr. G Malik Miller (Farrell, Pa./Farrell) was named the PSAC West Freshman of the Week after averaging 12.5 points and 3.0 assists last weekend; He also shot 7-13 from the field and 9-10 from the foul line
• For the eighth straight year, IUP is ranked in a preseason national poll, showing up at #24 in the NABC Coaches Top 25, which was released two weeks ago
• The high expectations were duplicated at the conference level, as IUP was picked to win the PSAC West when the league announced its preseason coaches polls in October; IUP received 5 of 8 first place votes
