@IUP_WBBTHE GAME AT A GLANCEThe Crimson Hawks begin a two-game road week as they head to Clarion to face the Golden Eagles on Wednesday night. Tipoff at Tippin Gymnasium is set for 5:30 p.m. IUP enters the week coming off of a 73-60 home victory over Edinboro on Saturday, remaining in a two-way tie with Gannon for second place in the PSAC West with a 13-5 conference record. The Crimson Hawks are looking for their first road win since the beginning of January, dropping each of their last three tries. Clarion enters this matchup after defeating Mercyhurst 62-55 over the weekend, snapping a three-game losing streak. The Golden Eagles are in postseason contention, currently sitting one-game back of a possible PSAC tournament spot with two weeks left in the season.

Leslie Stapleton (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) became the 23rd player in IUP history to reach the 1,000-point milestone at Kutztown on Dec. 5. She enters this matchup with 1,178 career points and is on pace to become the ninth player in the history of the program to score 1,300.Â
• In seven career games against Clarion, Stapleton is averaging 11.0 points per game, including 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting (4-of-7 from three) against the Golden Eagles on Jan. 16
• She has 60 career double-figure scoring games, including 18 times in 22 games this season
• She set a career-high with 26 points against West Chester (Nov. 22) and has seven 20-point games this season

Marina Wareham (New Wilmington, Pa. /Kennedy Catholic) is one of the top three-point threats in the PSAC this season, as she is second in the conference and 26th in the country with a 42.7 three-point field goal percentage. Her 50 three-pointers made are seventh and her 2.3 threes per game are tied for sixth in the conference.
• She has made at least one three-pointer in 19 of IUP's 22 games this season, including a career-high 6-of-8 performance against Edinboro (Feb. 6)
• Wareham is fourth on the team with a 10.4 points per game
• She has scored in double-figures 11 times this year, including a career-high 24 points against Edinboro (Feb. 6)
• Her 88 assists and 4.0 assists per game are both 11th in the PSAC; She had a career-high eight assists vs. Slippery Rock (Jan. 9)

• Smith is third in the team in scoring with 11.2 points per game
• She has 14 double-figure scoring games this season

TOM McCONNELL REACHED 50 WINS AT IUP; TIED FOR FASTEST COACH IN SCHOOL HISTORY TO REACH MARKIUP HC
Tom McConnell won his 50th game at IUP with the 80-74 victory at Kutztown on Dec. 5. With the win, he tied Cindy Martin with the fastest coach in school history to reach the mark at 68 games. McConnell went 18-10 in 2013-14 and followed that up with a 25-4 record last season.Â
