INDIANA, Pa. – Despite dropping the first set 25-18, IUP women's volleyball reeled off victories in three straight to clinch a four-set comeback win over visiting Point Park at the Kovalchick Complex on Tuesday night.
The Crimson Hawks improve to 5-0 with the victory as they prepare to head out on the road for the first time this coming weekend.
Junior
Natalie Cignetti (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) had a match-high 14 kills, adding 12 digs for her fifth double-double in as many matches this year. Senior
Lily McWilliams (Rockville, Md./Thomas Sprigg Wootton) added 12 kills.
Lineup changes after the opening loss sparked the Crimson Hawks, as they posted scores of 25-20, 25-15, and 25-20 the rest of the way.

Lindsay Moeller (Troy, Mich./Troy) split time with junior
Katie Miller (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) as IUP's setter, with the duo tallying 29 and 15 assists, respectively. Senior
Kaitlyn Palmer (Indiana, Pa. /Indiana) came off the bench to finish with five kills, nine digs and an ace. Sophomore
Jess Marut (Painesville, Ohio/Riverside) tallied three aces on the night in addition to her match-high 31 digs. Redshirt sophomore
Elora Pittman (Jackson, Mich./Michigan Center) continued her strong play at the net with a pair of solo blocks and a block assist.
A big weekend is on the horizon as the Crimson Hawks head to Erie to compete in the PSAC/Mountain East Crossover. IUP will pay Urbana and Fairmont State on Friday, and West Virginia State and Concord on Saturday.
