THE GAME AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks look to get back on track this week as they head to Greensburg to face Seton Hill on Wednesday evening. Tipoff at Salvitti Gymnasium is set for 5:30 p.m. IUP is trying to snap out of a three-game losing streak, its longest since the 2013-14 season, but still sit just two games out of first place in the PSAC West with a 10-3 league record. Seton Hill is coming off of a win at Pitt-Johnstown after suffering through a three-game losing streak of its own, and are 7-6 in the PSAC.
The game will be broadcast on WQMU 92.5 FM with the voice of IUP Athletics, Jack Benedict, calling the action. You can also listen on u92radio.com and on the u92radio app on your smartphone.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
• IUP HC
Tom McConnell has a 4-2 record against Seton Hill during his time on the Crimson Hawks' bench; Both losses came in Greensburg, including last year's regular season finale (L, 68-54)
• The Crimson Hawks have outscored Seton Hill by an average of 67.5 to 60.0 under McConnell
• This is only the second three-game losing streak in McConnell's four seasons, dropping four in a row to Bloomsburg, Mercyhurst, Gannon and California in 2013-14, his first at IUP
• Saturday's loss at Clarion was IUP's first true road defeat of the season; The Crimson Hawks are 5-1 away from home this year, outscoring opponents by an average of 14.4 points per game (71.2 - 56.8)
• Seton Hill has played better on the road than at home this season, with just a 4-5 record in Salvitti Gymnasium; The Griffins have lost three straight at home, but did play Edinboro tough on January 3 (L, 58-54)
• For the second straight game, IUP will face a strong three-point shooting team; Seton Hill is second in the PSAC and 30th in Division II with 8.1 made threes per game
CRIMSON HAWKS OWN 5-1 RECORD IN TRUE ROAD GAMES THIS YEAR
The Crimson Hawks have had success on the road this year, going 5-1 with a scoring margin of +14.4. Their offense has actually performed better on the road than at home, averaging more points (71.2 to 70.4), with better shooting (.444 to .442) and free throw percentages (.763 to .711). IUP's key road win came at Mercyhurst, winning 64-54 back on January 9. Four Crimson Hawks are scoring in double-figures on the road, led by Jr. F
Megan Smith (Blain, Pa./West Perry) at 15.5 points per game.
THE IUP DEFENSE AGAIN ONE OF THE BEST IN THE PSAC, DIVISION II IN SEVERAL CATEGORIES
Despite their recent struggles, the Crimson Hawks defense still remains statistically one of the best in the PSAC. IUP leads the league in points allowed (55.8), defensive field goal percentage (.359), and blocks (5.71) - also ranking 11th, 31st, and fourth, respectively, in Division II.
BRITTANY ROBINSON IS ONE OF THE TOP SHOT BLOCKERS IN ATLANTIC REGION
So. F
Brittany Robinson (Harrisburg, Pa. /Central Dauphin East) is second in the PSAC, third in the Atlantic Region, and 31st in Division II averaging 1.94 blocked shots per game this season. She's posted at least one block in 13 of 17 games, and is on a string of four straight games with at least two swats (13 blocks). Robinson has performances of seven blocks (vs. Shippensburg) and six blocks (at Millersville), and is on pace to have one of the top individual seasons in program history.
ROBINSON ALSO BECOMING A TOP OFFENSIVE THREAT FOR THE CRIMSON HAWKS
In addition to her shot blocking prowess, Robinson has added an offensive game to her arsenal. Since the turn of the calendar to 2017, she's averaging 12.1 points and shooting 61.5 percent (40-65) in seven games. Robinson has five double-digit scoring games within that span, including a 17-point performance at Millersville, and has 14 points in each of her last two outings. For the year, she's fourth on the team with 9.4 points per game and if she had enough made field goals to quality, would rank fourth in the PSAC with a 54.3 shooting percentage.
HALLE DENMAN RANKS 3RD IN THE PSAC, 32ND IN DIVISION II IN STEALS PER GAME

Halle Denman (Beaver Falls, Pa. /Blackhawk) is having a standout defensive season in her first year as a starter, as she's third in the PSAC and 32nd in the NCAA with 2.6 steals per game. She's had at least one steal in 16 straight games, including a career-high seven against Gannon and five at Millersville. Denman is on pace for nearly 70 steals over the course of a 26-game regular season, which would be the most since Jahzinga Tracey had 99 in 2008-09.

Wolosik is third on the team with 11.7 points per game, and ranks first with 34 made threes and 52 assists.
