The 16th-ranked Crimson Hawks continue their road trip Monday when they head to Erie to face Mercyhurst. Tipoff at the Mercyhurst Athletic Center is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The Crimson Hawks sit in first place in the PSAC West, boasting a 12-2 overall mark and a 7-1 record in the league, leading the division by two games. They take a three-game win streak to Erie and are coming off of Friday's 65-50 win at Slippery Rock. The Lakers, last year's PSAC champions, are 6-6 (4-3 PSAC) on the year and recently ended a three-game skid with a win at Clarion.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
• IUP HC
Joe Lombardi is 12-8 all-time against Mercyhurst, with the Lakers getting the best of the Crimson Hawks in their Erie matchups; IUP is 3-6 under Lombardi in road games against the Lakers, winning just once in Erie since the 2010-11 season (53-50 in 2013-14)
• This will be just the fourth road game for the Crimson Hawks this season; They are 3-0 away from home this year (54-19 since 2011) and are outscoring opponents 67.0 - 56.7
• Mercyhurst has lost each of its last two home games and is just 4-3 in the MAC this season; The Lakers own an 80-26 (.755) home record since the 2009-10 season
• Mercyhurst swept the season series last year, defeating IUP 64-57 in Erie in November and 68-66 in the KCAC in February
• The Lakers mirror Slippery Rock - IUP's last opponent - as they are one of the top defensive teams in the PSAC (63.4 ppg - 2nd), but also have one of the worst offenses (67.8 ppg - 16th)
