INDIANA, Pa. – Coming off its impressive top-10 rivalry win at Slippery Rock, IUP football held steady at No. 2 in this week's D2Football.com Top 25 Poll, which was released on Tuesday morning.
The Crimson Hawks (7-0) are ranked No. 3 in this week's American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Poll.
The top six teams in the media rankings remain the same this week, led again by Northwest Missouri State (7-0) at No. 1. Minnesota State (7-0) follows IUP at No. 3, Grand Valley State (6-1) is No. 4, and Ashland (6-1) rounds out the top five. Shepherd (6-0), which sits in front of IUP in the Coaches' Poll, is No. 6 in the Media rankings.
Slippery Rock (6-1) fell from No. 13 to No. 19 after its loss to IUP. The Rock is the only other Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) team in the top 25.

The Crimson Hawks are on the road again next week, heading to Clarion to face the Golden Eagles (1-6, 1-3 PSAC). Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
