INDIANA, Pa. - IUP baseball participated in their 13^th annual 100-inning baseball game fundraiser on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Owen J. Dougherty Field.  Once again this year, the game had a Halloween costume theme.

After a slow start offensively, the juniors and seniors took a 7-3 lead heading into the 18^th inning, never losing their lead through the remaining 72 innings.  The upperclassmen defeated the freshmen and sophomore class 21-15, remaining undefeated for 13 year existence of the 100-inning game. 

There were a total of 94 hits in this year's game, with 41 coming from the freshmen and sophomores and 53 from the juniors and seniors. 

"This is our most fun, and interesting, fundraiser of the year," said IUP baseball head coach Anthony Rebyanski.

"Our guys get to dress up, act like little kids and just play the game they love while showing their support for those who have generously donated and shown support of IUP baseball."

A special thanks to all who donated pledges to the game.  All proceeds go directly to the IUP baseball program.
